Guest soap - Eau de cologne

In the finest monastic tradition, we present these charming guest soaps featuring the image of Notre-Dame de Paris, specially crafted for us by the Benedictines of the Abbey of Chantelle (France).

These small soaps are enriched with precious oils and other active ingredients such as honey and avocado to leave your skin soft and supple.

You can choose from our three scent options: honeysuckle (orange packaging), rosehip (red packaging), and lavender (blue packaging).

To cleanse your skin without any sensation of tightness, all soaps from the Abbey of Chantelle use an ultra-gentle vegetable base combined with specific active ingredients. They are rich in calendula, known for its soothing properties and often recommended for sensitive skin, as well as soy extract and Vitamin E. These high-quality soaps will leave your skin with a nourished and moisturized sensation. Such enriched soaps are also known as "surgras" soaps.

The town of Chantelle, home to Saint-Vincent Abbey where a community of Benedictine nuns has resided since 1853, is located in the heart of Bourbonnais, France.

The abbey is built on a rocky spur overlooking the deep, wooded gorges of the Bouble River, a tributary of the Sioule River, which then flows into the Allier River.

The abbey takes pride in maintaining quality relationships with the outside world and among the sisters and employees. Since 1954, a workshop in the monastery has been producing and selling simple, nature-inspired cosmetic products for the whole family.
